Didier Beaumont is an independent singer-songwriter and artist, born in Sète in the south of France and raised on a small island on the south coast of England called Hayling Island.

His songs are shaped by the sounds of Country, Bluegrass and Folk music — influences he absorbed during his time in Kentucky, USA — blended with the spirit and character of British rock.

“Ouzo & Black”, “White Whisky”, “Bound for Glory”, “Back in 88", "Rebel Heart” have become his signature songs, well known throughout the European Country music scene, allowing him to perform in clubs and festivals since 1994.

With honest lyrics and his guitar at the heart of every song, Beaumont carries the spirit of a modern-day troubadour — a traveller sharing his stories with anyone willing to listen, dance, or simply dream for the length of a concert… wherever the road may lead.

But in the end, it is the lights reflecting on the Royal Canal, the movement of the boats along the quays, and the distant sunset disappearing into the Mediterranean Sea that always bring Beaumont back home, to Sète.

Sète — a unique,  inspiring birthplace for so many artists — and the place where Didier Beaumont has built his own musical world.

Didier Beaumont est un artiste auteur/compositeur, indépendant, né à Sète en France, et élevé dans le sud de l’Angleterre sur une petite île appelée Hayling Island.

Ses chansons sont teintées non seulement de couleurs Country, Bluegrass & Folk, styles musicaux dont il s’est imprégné dans le Kentucky, USA, mais également de Rock Anglais.

Ouzo & Black, White Whisky, Bound for Glory, I’ll Quiet the Storm, Back in 88, Rebel Heart sont ses titres « signatures » bien connus sur le circuit Country Européen et qui lui permettent de se produire sur les planches des clubs et festivals depuis 1994.

Ses textes sincères, et ses accords de guitare, sont la recette qui font de lui un artiste « troubadour », un voyageur chantant ses chansons à qui veut bien les entendre, à qui veut danser, à qui veut rêver le temps d’un concert… peu importe où.

Mais ce sont les lumières sur le canal royal, le roulis des bateaux sur les quais, le soleil qui se couche au loin en plongeant dans la mer, qui finissent toujours par ramener Beaumont chez lui, à Sète.
